ascanio borga is an explorer of sounds and forms in contemporary ambient/electronics and drone-guitar. A self taught musician/composer, after several years in rock bands as a guitarist/audio technician, he fell under the influence of electronic and avantgarde music, especially repetition, continuous sounds and improvisation. He worked on soundtracks of short movies and theatrical plays, and recorded several albums of ambient/experimental music. He also currently plays synthesizer in the band Nahui. ascanio borga e' un esploratore di suoni e forme nell'ambient/elettronica contemporanea e drone-guitar. Musicista/compositore autodidatta, dopo diversi anni nel rock come chitarrista/tecnico del suono, e' finito sotto l'influenza della musica elettronica e d'avanguardia, in particolar modo la ripetizione, i suoni continui, e l'improvvisazione. Ha lavorato a colonne sonore di cortometraggi e spettacoli teatrali, ed ha registrato diversi album di musica ambient/sperimentale. Attualmente suona anche i sintetizzatori nella band Nahui.
